My husband was my best friend, we had known each other all our lives, grew up in the same church, were high school sweethearts and married right out of school in 1972.

In 1974 we added a baby girl to our life and in 1979 was blessed with a son. We were married 33 years in August and in Nov 2004 the Lord called my loving husband home.

It had definitely been a journey... he was so thrilled for me to have my own store he designed my business cards, painted my signs, worked so hard to have everything just right for my grand opening.

Lots of "zebra and hot pink" including the anonymous (because it was not in the budget) bouquet of flowers he sent me for opening day. With him it was all about the detail and the loving touch that he added to each one.

I’m sure he’s watching from above saying I told you "To build it they will come!"
